2011 Update

We are still servicing over 50 families a month this year.  We have been so blessed to have many donations from local churches, individuals, and organizations.  We have tried to thank everyone on our Facebook page.  However, if you know of someone we forgot, please let us know! We wouldn't want to miss anyone! Another major blessing this year was that King Street Church's Deacon Committee agreed to pay for ALL of our bills each month! This is a HUGE praise, and we are so thankful to the Lord for this blessing! It will really help us focus on ministry and less on fundraising!

We are so grateful to have Katy McDonald on our staff as well.  She has a two year Bible degree from Lancaster Bible College.  She has taken a break from the ministry due to her physical health (Katy has Cerebral Palsy), but we're praying that she will be back with us by summer.  Katy has been leading Bible Study for staff (and this is also available to clients).  She's also able to pray with clients as needed. We are SO GRATEFUL for Katy!

Update

Wow, where do I start? We are currently servicing 69 families in Franklin County with over 50 families on our waiting list. It has been an INCREDIBLE blessing to be a part of the lives of these families! We are trying to get our active family list down to around 50, because that seems to be the maximum numbers of families we can serve well. However, it is SO hard to turn people away or tell them they have to wait. Even so, the waiting families have been very patient. We continue to seek prayer, volunteers, and donations! Any toiletry donation helps no matter how small. God continues to provide every month by bringing in at least some donations to help cover our families. Because our overhead costs are so low, we are able to now meet all of our bills every month and still have money left to purchase toiletries! Yay God!

Update

Oh my! So much has been going on with our ministry since Christmas! Being part of the adoption process was SO awesome! I was able to see so many miracles and acts of kindness! In the spring we have been continuing to work on accounting for all incoming and outgoing toiletries. This has been quite a process for our girls, but we are managing, and praise God that we continue to be so blessed! We're currently serving 40-45 of our 70 families each month. Depending on the size of the family and needs, some families come every month, while many of our singles come every other month. We gave out over 600 toiletry items last month!!!!! Please consider donating to our ministry! We need pretty much all toiletry items, paper products, cleaning supplies, and diapers. We also have a facebook page now! You can search for Once More Ministries, and we should be in the listing!

Christmas Adoptions

Once More Ministries would like to thank ALL of the adopting families for our Christmas adoption!! Each family bought toiletries and gifts for another needy family in the community. We had approximately 30 families adopted this year!!! This was a huge success, and we would also like to thank Mix 95 (Rick and Lisa) for having us on the air several times to talk about the ministry!!! Thank you to all for blessing us and our families!!!!

Changes...

At the end of October, Once More Clothing Store will be subletting to a new business: Jen's Family Connection. However, the TOILETRY BANK WILL STILL BE AT THE 128 E. QUEEN STREET LOCATION! The toiletry bank is NOT MOVING. We will STILL need donations of toiletries and items for our families. Jen's Family Connection will be a FOR-PROFIT, and NONE of their proceeds will go to our ministries. However, there store does help us pay the rent, so PLEASE shop there if you want to help us keep our building.

Raise the Praise
